Our Program
Join us for a whole-hearted, secular educational experience that seamlessly blends creative and holistic learning, community, and nature connection.
Monthly Themes
Every 4-6 weeks we dive into a new theme to guide our work together. The theme is the anchor of our lessons and the starting point for experiments, art projects, writing and reading assignments, and discussions.
Nature Connection
Nature is one of our favorite teachers, and we spend tons of time outside each day! We work hard to strike a great balance of guided group games and free play time, no matter the weather.
Community Building
Connection is at the heart of our vision and we love to involve parents in what we are doing! At the end of each unit, we invite families to come for a gathering to share our work and spend time together.
“Everwild has become the highlight of my kids’ week. I haven’t seen them so inspired in a long time. They come home so enthusiastic about the topics, often asking if they can do related projects on their own.
My heart is warmed by the budding friendships they are making, and I’m delighted to see the twinkle back in their eyes after such a difficult fall. Thank you so much for the thoughtfulness and care you put into the program!”

How We Spend Our Day
Our rhythm is loose and responsive, which makes our learning really dynamic and gives us the flexibility to dive deeper if students are super excited about something, or pivot to try a new way if it’s not clicking. We work hard to meet each child where they are and cultivate a classroom culture that feels really safe and open.
This is an example of a daily rhythm and gives you an idea of how we approach learning together.
Unit themes are accompanied by a relevant novel (to be read at home), and culminate in a community gathering on the last session of the unit with a topical celebration to share our work and friendship.
Also,
Each week, I send an email telling the story of the day so you have an idea of how your kids are spending their time, what they might be thinking about, and what they are working on. I always welcome ideas and suggestions from children and parents and work hard to create an engaging, creative, environment for young people to grow and thrive in!
Everwild is not a stand in for your homeschooling education requirements, but instead an inspiring, creative supplement and supportive community for the whole family to engage in.

Everwild is a place for belonging.
As part of the staff in the afternoons I’ve gotten to witness Tiffany and the kids in their element and it could not be more magical. Her thoughtfulness, collaborative spirit and absolute dedication to kids in the pivotal and awkward years of early teenager-hood is unparalleled.
The rich educational experience they are getting here is something I haven’t found anywhere else in my dozen years of homeschooling and my own neurospicy kiddo has fallen in love with this program.”

FAQs
-
Your kids should be dressed appropriately for the weather in clothes that can get dirty. We will spend time outdoors and indoors every single day, so layers are going to be the best bet!
-
All materials and supplies are included in the program. Please pack a full lunch and two snacks, along with a full water bottle. We have a microwave available, if needed. We have a designated lunch time and kids can grab snacks whenever they need to throughout the day.
-
- We are a phone free program. We may occasionally use a screen as part of a lesson or project, but personal devices are not allowed during our time together! If you send your child with a phone, please make sure they are turned off and put away in a backpack (not in a pocket).
-
If instructors can safely get there, then class will go on! Parents of course will make whatever choice is best for their family. If the instructors can't make it to class and have to cancel, parents have the option to request a refund for that day. No other refunds are available.
Please send us a text or call if your child will be absent.
-
Students in the older class do need to know how to read and write independently, but beyond that all of our work together is flexible and adaptive to their abilities.
The most important thing for our classroom culture is that all kids show up with kindness and willingness to contribute.
We pride ourselves in meeting kids where they are, finding ways to adapt to their needs, and helping them find their growth edges in a gentle and supported way.
You know your child best! We love to have a phone call with prospective/ new families to learn more about how we can support you and best place your child. Reach out if you’d like to chat more!
